Task Overview
For CGM Consulting Srl, I created a detailed presentation featuring 3D renderings and mockups of a proposed virtual reality (VR) application set in Turin Cinema Museum, located inside the iconic Mole Antonelliana.
The goal was to provide an engaging visual representation of the project, emphasizing the innovative aspects of the proposed solution.
Project Features
- 3D Model Creation: I modeled parts of the museum and the interior structure of the Mole Antonelliana using Blender, based on publicly available photographs. The resulting 3D representation, though simplified, accurately conveyed the proportions, materials, and lighting of the actual space.
- High-Quality Renderings: These renderings captured visually stunning perspectives of the museum environment, enhancing the narrative of the VR application proposal.
- Presentation Design: I incorporated the renderings and mockups into a professional slide deck, complemented by descriptive text tailored to the requirements of the bid and technical specifications provided by the development team.
Application Highlights
The VR application aimed to:
- Promote Urban Tourism: Through dynamic, interactive virtual tours of the museum and surrounding urban attractions.
- Preserve Cultural Heritage: By offering accessible, immersive experiences that educate users about cinematic history.
- Foster Community Engagement: Including gamified elements to connect users and encourage participation in virtual cinematic events.
Impact and Reflections
This project demonstrates my ability to create visually compelling mockups under tight deadlines, capturing the essence of complex concepts.
It highlights my skills in both 3D modeling and presenting innovative ideas effectively, providing a solid foundation for future VR initiatives.
